Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

I bought this book a little over a week ago and am already done with it. My boyfriend and I started out saying that we were going to take turns with it, reading a chapter at a time. We didn't realize, however, our different reading styles nor the fact that I have more time to read than he does. It didn't take long for him to tell me to just go ahead and read the book because without trying to, I was putting a little pressure on him to read faster. We will have to wait for our discussions on what we thought of the book until he is done, but it is so hard because of all that has happened in this book.

Ok....about the book! I am not going to give away the secrets here, although they are all over the internet already. I don't want someone to inadvertently read something they didn't want to read. I believe that this is the best book of the series. It might have to do with the fact that so many questions were answered and it was awfully exciting. I found that I just couldn't put the book down and when I did, I couldn't wait to get back to it. What an emotional roller coaster ride that book was!

At the end of the book, I was a little sad because it was the end of a great series. It was the same kind of bittersweet feeling that I felt as I watched the last of the Lord of the Rings movies, "Return of the King". It's amazing when works of fiction pull you into their world and you feel for the characters as you would your own friends and family. To me, the Harry Potter series is just like that.

All is well....
