Bob Woodruff Indicts Military For Its Response to Veterans"
I am not only amazed at the miraculous recovery of Bob Woodruff, but thankful for using his experience to bring attention to the scores of wounded veterans that face their own brain injury rehabilitation.
This is one of those "forgotten statistics" that I believe the military is trying to sweep under the rug out of public view, but it does not go away because it isn't seen. In fact, it grows every day.
Good for you, Bob Woodruff and continued health and healing to you!
Formerly Aimless Wanderings of a Fretful Mind. I'm not so fretful anymore....but my thoughts still meander. This is just another blog of a typical working class American family in a typical working class (and military) American town in Northern NY.

To those who wondered where the hell I went....
I have been gone for a while, showing that I have a tendency to not journal or blog consistently. Call it a procrastination, boredom, or my Sagittarian nature, but I tend to drift off sometimes. That, along with some personal issues that I have been having of late, and I just simply have not been in much of a mood to write.
But I am back, for a while and although these are a little late, I want to share some of our photos from the weeks of snow that we have been getting here in the North Country. Right back in January, some people were still moving their lawns and we didn't even get a White Christmas up here...which felt very weird....
(Warning: Know It All Alert!!) I am not surprised that we got hammered though...I remember saying out loud that we would, considering how warm Lake Ontario was going to be....

Check out the amount of snow on the truck!

On top of the roof....

Sitting on the floor in the living room taking a picture out through the patio door

Standing outside in the side yard....I am 5 foot 4, the hubby is 5 foot 7
