I remember watching every episode of Mr. Wizard's World on Nickelodeon in the 80's. I loved the experiments and remember doing quite a few myself at home. He made learning fun and made one realize that one didn't need any fancy tools to experiment and learn. He was a great educator and will be sorely missed.
Goodbye, Mr. Wizard! Thanks for your vision!

Changes and starting again.....
In my last post, I had mentioned that my life was crazy. Thing is, it was changing. This year, I have seen not only an end to a 10 year relationship (7 of them married) but the beginning of something wonderful and new. Things are changing for me at a high rate of speed and I am starting to find the balance I need to be a better mother, teacher, and friend. I have had to face certain demons that haunt me and become the grown up I have been fighting to become.
As scary as this new stage of my life is, I am awfully excited about it.
