Another winner in the quest to feed my family a little bit healthier. I was able to buy the whole wheat pastry flour at my local natural foods store, The Mustard Seed. I used organic cane sugar (like Sugar in the Raw but a bit finer, also from The Mustard Seed) and lowfat buttermilk instead of the nonfat because I couldn't find it (probably should have looked at The Mustard Seed for that, too :) ).
Anyway, the family scarfed it! It was really moist and tasty. My notoriously picky 12 year old even liked it!! I will definitely be making it again.
